The title compound was prepared from 2-chloro-4-trifluoromethyl-6-(4-trifluoromethyl-phenyl)-pyrimidine (example A.2) (0.98 g, 3.0 mmol) and commercially available 4-bromo-pyrazole (0.66 g, 4.50 mmol) according to the general procedure IVa. Obtained as a white solid (0.83 g, 59%). MS (ISP) 437.0 [(M+H)+]; mp 175.5° C.
