The title compound was prepared from 2-(4-bromo-imidazol-1-yl)-4-methyl-6-(4-trifluoromethyl-phenyl)-pyrimidine (example E.13) (0.31 g, 0.8 mmol) and commercially available 3-(4,4,5,5-tetramethyl-1,3,2-dioxaborolan-2-yl)pyridine (0.16 g, 0.8 mmol) according to the general procedure VI. Obtained as an off-white solid (0.012 g, 4%). MS (ISP) 382.3 [(M+H)+]; mp 208-210° C.
