The title compound was prepared from 6′-bromo-6-methyl-4-(4-trifluoromethyl-phenyl)-[2,2′]bipyridinyl (example E.26) (0.150 g, 0.38 mmol) and commercially available 2-amino-5-(4,4,5,5-tetramethyl-1,3,2-dioxaborolan-2-yl)pyrimidine (0.092 g, 0.42 mmol) according to the general procedure VI. Obtained as a white solid (0.080 g, 57%). MS (ISP) 407.3 [(M+H)+]; mp 219-222° C.
