Reaction Steps
The title compound was prepared from 2′-chloro-4-trifluoromethyl-6-(4-trifluoromethyl-phenyl)-[2,4′]bipyridinyl (example E.27) (0.286 g, 0.75 mmol) and commercially available 2-amino-5-(4,4,5,5-tetramethyl-1,3,2-dioxaborolan-2-yl)pyridine (0.234 g, 1.2 mmol) according to the general procedure VI. Obtained as a yellow solid (0.343 g, 97%). MS (ISP) 461.3 [(M+H)+]; mp 194-196° C.
