N-tert-Butyl-5-{3-[6-(3,4-dichloro-phenyl)-4-methyl-pyrimidin-2-yl]-phenyl}-thiophene-2-sulfonic acid amide was prepared from 2-(3-bromo-phenyl)-4-(3,4-dichloro-phenyl)-6-methyl-pyrimidine (example E.62) (0.39 g, 1.0 mmol) and N-tert-butyl-5-(4,4,5,5-tetramethyl-1,3,2-dioxaborolan-2-yl)-thiophene-2-sulfonamide (example F.1) (0.45 g, 1.3 mmol) according to the general procedure VI. Obtained as a light yellow solid (0.39 g), which was subsequently deprotected.
