5-{4-[4-(3,4-Dichloro-phenyl)-6-methyl-pyrimidin-2-yl]-pyridin-2-yl}-thiophene-2-sulfonic acid tert-butylamide was prepared from 2-(2-chloro-pyridin-4-yl)-4-(3,4-dichloro-phenyl)-6-methyl-pyrimidine (example E.63) (0.35 g, 1.0 mmol) and N-tert-butyl-5-(4,4,5,5-tetramethyl-1,3,2-dioxaborolan-2-yl)-thiophene-2-sulfonamide (example F.1) (0.45 g, 1.3 mmol) according to the general procedure VI. Obtained as a light yellow solid (0.22 g) which was subsequently deprotected.
