5-{4-[4-(3,4-Difluoro-phenyl)-6-trifluoromethyl-pyrimidin-2-yl]-pyridin-2-yl}-thiophene-2-sulfonic acid tert-butyl amide was prepared from 2-(2-chloro-pyridin-4-yl)-4-(3,4-difluoro-phenyl)-6-trifluoromethyl-pyrimidine (example E.104) (0.25 g, 0.67 mmol) and N-tert-butyl-5-(4,4,5,5-tetramethyl-1,3,2-dioxaborolan-2-yl)-thiophene-2-sulfonamide (example F.1) (0.28 g, 0.81 mmol) according to the general procedure VI. Obtained as light yellow solid (0.29 g), which was subsequently deprotected.
