N-tert-Butyl-5-{3-[4-methyl-6-(3-methyl-4-trifluoromethyl-phenyl)-pyrimidin-2-yl]-phenyl}-thiophene-2-sulfonic acid amide was prepared from 2-(3-bromo-phenyl)-6-methyl-4-(3-methyl-4-trifluoromethyl-phenyl)-pyrimidine (example E.53) (0.21 g, 0.52 mmol) and N-tert-butyl-5-(4,4,5,5-tetramethyl-1,3,2-dioxaborolan-2-yl)-thiophene-2-sulfonamide (example F.1) (0.21 g, 0.62 mmol) according to the general procedure VI. Obtained as a light yellow solid (0.15 g), which was subsequently deprotected.
