N-tert-Butyl-5-{3-[6-(2-ethoxy-4-trifluoromethyl-phenyl)-4-trifluoromethyl-pyrimidin-2-yl]-phenyl}-thiophene-2-sulfonic acid amide was prepared from 2-(3-bromo-phenyl)-4-(2-ethoxy-4-trifluoromethyl-phenyl)-6-trifluoromethyl-pyrimidine (example E.108) (0.185 g, 0.41 mmol) and N-tert-butyl-5-(4,4,5,5-tetramethyl-1,3,2-dioxaborolan-2-yl)-thiophene-2-sulfonamide (example F.1) (0.17 g, 0.49 mmol) according to the general procedure VI. Obtained as an off-white foam (0.18 g), which was subsequently deprotected.
