Reaction Steps
A solution of (1S,2R,3S,5R)-3-(di-Boc-amino)-5-(2,6-dichloro-purin-9-yl)-cyclopentane-1,2-diol (0.55 g, 1.09 mmol) in DCM (4 mL) is treated with TFA (2 mL) and stirred at room temperature. After 2 hours, the solvent is removed in vacuo to yield the title compound which is used in the next step without further purification. MS (ES+) m/e 304 (MH+).
