4-(3-Methoxybenzyl)-6-methyl-N-(4-(2-methyl-1H-imidazol-1-yl)phenyl)-5,6,7,8-tetrahydropyrido[4,3-d]pyrimidin-2-amine (14.3 mg, 10.4%) was synthesised from 4-(3-methoxybenzyl)-N-(4-(2-methyl-1H-imidazol-1-yl)phenyl)-5,6,7,8-tetrahydropyrido[4,3-d]pyrimidin-2-amine and formaldehyde according to the general procedure for reductive amination.
