Method A applied to 1-iodo-2-nitrobenzene (125 mg, 0.5 mmol) and 6-acetylamino-hexanoic acid methyl ester (112 mg, 0.6 mmol) yielded the title compound as yellow oil (20 mg, 15%). 1H NMR (DMSO) δ 1.32-1.83 (m, 6H), 2.29 (t, J=7.1Hz, 2H), 2.80 (s, 3H), 3.55 (s, 3H), 4.38 (t, J=7.3, 2H), 7.48-7.56 (m, 2H), 7.76 (d, J=8.1Hz, 1H), 7.91 (d, J=8.1Hz).
