Reaction Steps
Method B applied to 2-chloro-5-methyl-3-nitropyridine (86 mg, 0.5 mmol) and N-phenethyl-acetamide (98 mg, 0.6 mmol) afforded the title compound as viscous oil (54 mg, 43%). 1H NMR (DMSO) δ 2.38 (s, 3H), 2.46 (s, 3H), 3.12 (t, 2H), 4.53 (t, 2H), 7.08-7.29 (m, 5H), 7.93 (s, 1H), 8.32 (s, 1H).
