1-(3-dimethylaminopropyl)-3-ethylcarbodiimide hydrochloride (57.5 mg, 0.3 mmol) was added to a pyridine (5 mL) solution of the compound (50 mg, 0.2 mmol) synthesized in (1) and 4-isopropoxyaniline (0.061 mg, 0.4 mmol), and the mixture was stirred at room temperature for 3 hours. The reaction mixture was concentrated under reduced pressure, and, after addition of ethyl acetate, washed once with 1N-sodium hydroxide solution, and once with saturated brine. The organic layer was dried over magnesium sulfate, and concentrated under reduced pressure. The resulting residue was then purified using silica gel column chromatography to obtain the title compound (33 mg, 43%).
