The compound (60 mg, 0.138 mmol) synthesized in Example 26 was optically resolved using normal-phase chiral HPLC(CHIRALPAK AD 2 cm ø×25 cmL (Daicel Chemical Industries, Ltd.); mobile phase: hexane:isopropyl alcohol=60:40; flow rate: 10 ml/min; isogradient), and (1R**,4S**,6R**)-N-(4-isopropoxyphenyl)-2-[(1-methyl-1H-imidazol-4-yl)sulfonyl]-2-azabicyclo[2.2.2]octane-6-carboxamide (retention time: 14.2 min; 26.6 mg), and (1S**,4R**,6S**)-N-(4-isopropoxyphenyl)-2-[(1-methyl-1H-imidazol-4-yl)sulfonyl]-2-azabicyclo[2.2.2]octane-6-carboxamide (retention time: 30.7 min; 29.4 mg) were obtained.
