60 mg of Pd(PPh3)4 are added to 0.82 g (3.35 mmol) of 3-iodoindazole in 10 ml of DMF at room temperature under argon, and the mixture is stirred for 15 minutes. 1.1 g (3.35 mmol) of 2-(1,3-dioxan-2-yl)-6-trimethylstannylpyridine are added and the mixture is stirred at 100° C. for 4 hours. It is then evaporated in vacuo and the residue is chromatographed over silica gel. 300 mg (32% of theory) of an oil are obtained.
