Procedure

Analogously to Example 4, 8-(trifluoromethyl)-1,2,3,3a,5,9b-hexahydrocyclopenta[c]quinolin-4-one (0.15 g, 0.6 mmol) is reacted with Lawesson's reagent (0.49 g, 1.2 mmol) to form 0.10 g (61%) of product.
