Procedure

In the same way as described in Example 15, Step 4 using 3-bromo-1-(5-chloropyridin-2-yl)-6,6-dimethyl-4,5,6,7-tetrahydroindol-4-one and 2-tributylstannylthiazole, the title compound (73 mg, 37%) was isolated as a pale yellow solid. 1H NMR (400 MHz, d6-DMSO) δ 1.06 (6H,s), 2.44 (2H,s), 3.01 (2H,s), 7.63 (1H,d, J=3Hz), 7.80-7.84 (2H,m), 8.00 (1H,s), 8.20 (1H,dd, J=8.6 and 2.6 Hz), 8.69 (1H,d, J=2.6Hz). MS (ES+) 358/360 (M+1). 1H NMR (400 MHz, d6-DMSO) δ 1.02 (6H,s), 2.33 (2H,s), 2.97 (2H,s), 7.56 (1H,s), 7.71 (1H,d, J=8.6 Hz), 8.18 (1H,dd, J=8.7Hz and 2.6 Hz), 8.64 (1H,d, J=2.6 Hz). MS (ES+) 353/355 (M+1).
