As described for Example 9, 0.628 g (2 mmol) of 5-(4-aminobenzoyl)-6,11-dihydro-5H-dibenz[b,e]azepine is reacted with 0.506 g (3.0 mmol) of 2,3-dimethylbenzoyl chloride in dichloromethane. The product is recrystallized from hexane-dichloromethane to give 0.12 g of crystals, m.p. 138°-142° C. Anal. Calc'd for C30 H26N2O2 : C,80.7; H,5.9; N,6.3. Found: C,80.0; H,5.9; N,6.1.
