The general procedure of Example 6 was repeated using 4-(4-phenyl-4-(methylbutyl)-4-silacyclohexyl)cyclohexanone and 3,4-difluorophenylmagnesium chloride, thereby obtaining trans, trans-4-(4-(3,4-difluorophenyl)cyclohexyl-1-(3-methylbutyl)-1-silacyclohexane.
