(rac)-5,7-Difluoro-6-[1-(6-piperazin-1-yl-imidazo[1,2-b]pyridazin-3-yl)-ethyl]-quinoline (Example 6, 50 mg, 0.127 mmol) was dissolved in pyridine (1.27 mL) and acetyl chloride (0.014 mL, 0.190 mmol) was added. The RM was stirred at RT for 0.5 h. The mixture was concentrated and the residue was purified by flash chromatography and afforded the title compound as a beige foam (tR 3.36 min (conditions 1), MH+ 437).
