Reaction Steps
tert-Butyl 3-methoxy-1-(4-methoxybenzyl)-1H-pyrazolo[3,4-b]pyridin-5-ylcarbamate (0.0159 g, 0.0414 mmol) was dissolved in trifluoroacetic acid (2.0 mL) and stirred at room temperature for 1 hour. The reaction mixture was concentrated to provide 3-methoxy-1 (4-methoxybenzyl)-1H-pyrazolo[3,4-b]pyridin-5-amine, which was used directly in the next step.
