To solution of 5-[2-(4-adamantan-1-yl-phenoxy)-acetylamino]-nicotinic acid (40 mg, 0.098 mmol), 2-pyridine-4-yl-ethylamine (24.06 mg, 0.196 mmol) and DMAP (24.06 mg, 0.196 mmol) in DMF was added PyBOP (102.7 mg, 0.196 mmol) at room temperature, and stirred. Reaction mixture was poured onto ice cold water; diluted by methanol/MC mixture (10%). The organic phase was separated, sequentially washed with aqueous sodium bicarbonate, brine and water, dried over anhydrous MgSO4, and concentrated. The resultant crude product was purified by PLC (MeOH:MC=1:9) to afford 5-[2-(4-adamantan-1-yl-phenoxy)acetylamino]-N-(2-pyridine-4-yl-ethyl)nicotinamide as a colorless solid (30 mg, 60% yield).
