Reaction Steps
(2-chloro-9-ethyl-6-morpholino-9H-purin-8-yl)methanol (2.3 g) was reacted with 2-methylbenzimidazole via General Procedure I for Buchwald coupling. The crude product (9-ethyl-2-(2-methyl-1H-benzo[d]imidazol-1-yl)-6-morpholino-9H-purin-8-yl)methanol (3 g) was obtained after concentration of the reaction mixture and filtration after addition of water.
