To a solution of tert-butyl 4-(cyclohexylamino)-2-oxo-1-pent-4-en-1-yl-1,3,8-triazaspiro[4.5]dec-3-ene-8-carboxylate (785 mg, 1.88 mmol) in DCM (2 mL) was added HCl (1.64 mL, 6.56 mmol, 4N dioxane). The reaction mixture was stirred at rt for 1 h, concentrated in vacuo, taken in DCM and concentrated in vacuo again, to provide the desired product LRMS (M+1)=319.
