To a suspension of {1-[6-(thiazolo[4,5-b]pyridin-2-yloxy)-benzofuran-2-ylmethyl]-pyrrolidin-3-yl}-carbamic acid tert-butyl ester formate (435 mg, 0.849 mmol) in DCM (10 mL) was added 4 M HCl in dioxane (1.06 mL, 4.25 mmol) and the reaction mixture was stirred (rt, 14 h). The reaction mixture was concentrated in vacuo to afford the title compound as a yellow solid (320 mg, 95%). MS (ESI): mass calcd. for C19H18N4O2S, 366.1; m/z found, 367.1 [M+H]+.
