Procedure

According to Scheme 22 Step 2: The title compound was prepared according to Example 6 Step 2, from 2-methoxy-5-(3-phenylpropyl)pyridine (1 eq, 0.44 mmol, 0.10 g) and 1-(bromomethyl)-4-chloro-2-fluorobenzene (2 eq, 0.88 mmol, 0.20 g). Reaction conditions: overnight at 90° C. The residue was purified by flash chromatography over silicagel (AIT Flashsmart prepacked column SiO2, cyclohexane/AcOEt 70/30) yielding the title compound (75 mg, 0.21 mmol, 48%) as a yellow oil.
