Reaction Steps

NMR analysis clarified that the fraction 1 was CF3CF2CF2OCF2CF2CF2COOH and the fraction 2 was CF3CF2CHFOCF2CHFCF2COOH. These were neutralized with ammonia so that CF3CF2CF2OCF2CF2CF2COONH4 and CF3CF2CHFOCF2CHFCF2COONH4 were obtained.
