The titled compound is prepared by an analogous procedure to 1-methyl-3-(4-methyl-5-pyridin-4-yl-thiazol-2-yl)-urea (example 18b) by replacing imidazole-1-carboxylic acid (4-methyl-5-pyridin-4-yl-thiazol-2-yl)-amide (example 18a) with imidazole-1-carboxylic acid [5-(2,6-dimethyl-pyridin-4-yl)-4-methyl-thiazol-2-yl]-amide and by replacing methylamine with 2-(5-ethyl-oxazol-2-yl)-ethylamine. The preparation of 2-(5-ethyl-oxazol-2-yl)-ethylamine is described previously.
