Reaction Steps
A suspension of N-(2-methylbutyl)-N-methyl-leucine-tyrosine(OBn)-Kaiser oxime resin (Example 57, IIc) in CH2Cl2 was treated with 1.5 equivalents of 2-hydroxy-1,1-dimethylethylamine. The suspension was shaken for 48 hours. After the reaction was completed, additional CH2Cl2 and 1 equivalent of polymer supported isocyanate was added. After the suspension was shaken for 48 hours, the resin was filtered off, and the solvent was evaporated to yield the title product.
