Procedure

In a manner similar to the procedure in Reference Example 1, the oily title compound was prepared from ethyl 6-mesylimidazo[2,1-b]thiazole-5-carboxlate and isopropyl mercaptan. ##STR10## NMR(CDCl3) δ: 1.30(s, 6H), 3.15-3.65(m, 1H), 6.85(d, 1H), 7.38(d, 1H), 7.62(s, 1H)
