Reaction Steps
To a solution of 1 mmol 3-chlorobenzyl alcohol and 1 mmol triphenylphosphine in 5 mL THF at 0° C., 1 mmol diethylazodicarboxylate is added. After stirring for 10 minutes, 1 mmol thioacetic acid is added. The reaction is stirred for 3 hours, concentrated and purified by flash chromatography.
