Reaction Steps
To a solution of the product from Step M (75 mg, 0.14 mmol) in 1.0 mL of THF at 0° C. was added triethylamine (0.12 mL, 0.89 mmol), followed by triphosgene (26 mg, 0.088 mmol). The reaction was stirred at 0° C. for two hours, then poured into EtOAc and washed with sat. aq. NaHCO3 and brine. The solution was dried (Na2SO4), filtered, and concentrated in vacuo. The product was purified by silica gel chromatography (50-75% acetone/hexane), taken up in CH2Cl2 and treated with 1M HCl/ether solution, and concentrated in vacuo. The titled product hydrochloride (14 mg) was isolated as an orange powder.
