2,4,5-trichloropyrimidine (500 mg, 2.73 mmol) is suspended in 35 mL iso-PrOH and combined with K2CO3 (5.28 g, 38.16 mmol). Then N-((1R,2R)-2-amino-indan-1-yl)-acetamide B-4-b (570 mg, 2.99 mmol) is added and the reaction mixture is stirred for 3 h at 55° C. The reaction mixture is evaporated down, mixed with water and extracted with EtOAc. The organic phase is dried on magnesium sulphate and evaporated down in vacuo. The crude product of A-2b (HPLC-MS: tRet.=1.24 min; MS (M+H)+=337/339) is used in the subsequent reactions without further purification.
