Tert-butyl 4-[5-amino-6-(6-methyl-1H-benzimidazol-2-yl)pyrazin-2-yl]-3,6-dihydro-2H-pyridine-1-carboxylate (620 mg, 1.525 mmol) was stirred in DCM (20 mL) with TFA (4 mL) for 2 hours. The solvent was removed in vacuo and the residue taken up in EtOAc and washed with saturated aqueous Na2CO3.
