Reaction Steps
To a microwave reactor vial was added compound 14-2 (150 mg, 0.31 mmol), PdCl2(dppf) (50 mg, 0.061 mmol), triethylamine (0.13 mL, 0.93 mmol), triethylsilane (19 μL, 0.12 mmol), diisopropylphosphite (62 μL, 0.37 mmol) and 3 mL of toluene. The reaction was run in a microwave reactor for 20 min at 140° C. The reaction mixture was then diluted with EtOAc (50 mL) and washed three times with 50 mL portions of saturated aqueous ammonium chloride. The combined organic layers were dried over MgSO4, filtered, concentrated in vacuo, and then purified on ISCO (EtOAc/Hexanes=1/1) to yield title compound 14-3 as a brown oil.
