Reaction Steps
The product from step ii) (0.44 g) was treated with 1.0M boron tribromide in DCM (3.7 ml) in DCM (10 ml) and stirred at 0° C. for 18 h. The mixture was quenched in ice water and extracted with EtOAc; dried (MgSO4) and concentrated in vacuo to give the sub-title compound, yield 0.39 g.
