Procedure

Using the same method as in Example 19-(ii), 2-furanboronic acid was reacted with the (3-bromobenzyl)carbamic acid.tert-butyl to give [3-(furan-2-yl)benzyl]carbamic acid.tert-butyl (yield: 84%).
