A mixture of carbamate 25 (170 mg, 0.30 mmol) and 10% Pd-on-carbon (wet, 100 mg, 0.09 mmol) in MeOH (20 mL) was stirred vigorously under 1 atm H2 for 2.5 h. The catalyst was removed by filtration with an Acrodisc® 0.45 μm nylon membrane syringe filter and the solvent was removed in vacuo to afford 125 mg (96%) of 26 as an oil which was carried on without further purification. Mass spectrum, m/z [437.9] (M+H)+.
