A mixture of carbamate 29 (140 mg, 0.25 mmol) and 10% Pd-on-carbon (wet, 100 mg, 0.09 mmol) in MeOH (20 mL) was stirred vigorously under 1 atm H2. After 3 h, the catalyst was removed by filtration with an Acrodisc® 0.45 μm nylon membrane syringe filter and the solvent was removed in vacuo to afford 106 mg (100%) of 30 as a white solid which was used without further purification. Mass spectrum, m/z [431.8] (M+H)+.
