Procedure
Compound 3-(benzo[d]thiazol-5-yl)-5-fluorophenol (W190) was prepared using the general procedure for Suzuki coupling reaction between 3-bromo-5-fluorophenol (57 mg, 0.3 mmol) and 5-(4,4,5,5-tetramethyl-1,3,2-dioxaborolan-2-yl)benzo[d]thiazole (78 mg, 0.3 mmol), as a white solid (60 mg, 81%). 1H NMR (400 MHz, acetone-d6) δ 9.30 (s, 1 H), 9.02 (brs, 1 H), 8.30 (d, J=1.6 Hz, 1 H), 8.19 (d, J=8.4 Hz, 1 H), 7.45 (dd, J=8.4, 2.0 Hz, 1 H), 7.07 (t, J=1.6 Hz, 1 H), 7.02 (dt, J=10.0, 2.0 Hz, 1 H), 6.64 (dt, J=10.4, 2.4 Hz, 1 H); MS (ESI) m/z 275 (M+H+).
