This product was prepared from toluene-4-sulfonic acid 1-p-tolyl-1H-pyrazolo[3,4-b]pyridin-3-yl ester and diethyl-prop-2-ynyl-amine following the general procedure for the Sonogashira cross-coupling reaction described above. Chromatography eluent: heptane/EtOAc 4:6; yield (64 mg, 40%); 1H NMR δ (CDCl3): 8.64 (m, 1H), 8.19 (m, 1H), 8.11 (d, J=8.52 Hz, 2H), 7.33 (d, J=8.49 Hz, 2H), 7.21-7.28 (m, 1H), 3.86 (s, 2H), 2.73 (q, J=7.17 Hz, 4H), 2.40 (s, 3H), 1.20 (t, J=7.16 Hz, 6H); LCMS m/z: 318.
