Using 2-chloro-4-[(4S,5S)-4-(tert-butyldimethylsilyloxy)-5-methyl-2-oxopyrrolidin-1-yl]-3-methylbenzonitrile (500 mg) and tetrabutylammonium fluoride-THF solution (1.4 mL, 1 mol/L), and in the same manner as in Example 15, the title compound was obtained as a colorless solid (yield: 210 mg, 44%).
