To a solution of the compound of Example 3 (3.0 g, 4.8 mmol), DMSO (18 mL), and acetic acid (3.6 mL) at room temperature was added acetic anhydride (23 mL), and the reaction was stirred for 48 hours at room temperature. The reaction was quenched with ice and 10% Na2CO3 was added to adjust the pH to 7. The mixture was extracted with ethyl acetate and washed with 10% Na2CO3 and brine. The organic was dried over Na2SO4, filtered and evaporated to give the crude product, which was chromatographed on silica gel eluting first with 25-100% ethyl acetate in dichloromethane to give the title compound (2.1 g, 64% yield).
