Norbloc (2-{3-(2H-Benxotriazol-2-yl)-4-hydroxyphenyl}ethyl methacrylate) is reacted with the obtained Irgacure 2959-monosuccinate in the presence of N,N-dicyclohexyl carbodiimide (DCC) and 4-(dimethylamino)pyridine (D-MAP) to obtain conjugated Irgacure 2959-Norbloc.
