To a solution of (S)-2-(3-(4-chlorophenyl)-2-oxo-4-(3-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl)imidazolidin-1-yl)ethyl methanesulfonate (30 mg, 0.065 mmol) in anhydrous dichloromethane (3 mL) is added morpholine (16.9 mg, 0.194 mmol). After 3 h at room temperature, the residue is purified by preparatory LC/MS to provide the title compound; 1H NMR (CD3OD, 400 MHz) δ 7.71 (s, 1H), 7.62-7.53 (m, 3H), 7.43 (d, J=9.2 Hz, 2H), 7.25 (d, J=9.2 Hz, 2H), 5.58 (dd, J=9.2, 6.2 Hz, 1H), 4.04 (t, J=9.2 Hz, 1H), 3.95-4.59 (m, 6H), 3.49-3.26 (m, 4H), 3.24 (dd, J=9.0, 6.2 Hz, 1H), 3.19-3.01 (m, 2H); HPLC-MS calculated for C22H24ClF3N3O2 (M+H+) 454.1, found 454.0.
