Reaction of equimolar amounts of 5-sec.-butyl-1,3-cyclohexanedione with p-chlorobenzenesulfonylisocyanate in benzene according to the procedure of Example 1 affords 5-sec.-BUTYL-2-(N-p-CHLOROBENZENESULFONYLCARBAMOYL)-1,3-CYCLOHEXANEDIONE, m.p. 106°-107° C. (corr.).
