N-[1-(2-chloro-6-methylphenyl)carbonyl]-4-[[2,6-dichlorophenyl)carbonyl]amino]-3-methyl-L-phenylalanine was prepared from 4-amino-3-methyl-N-[[(2-chloro-6-methylphenyl)carbonyl]-L-phenylalanine methyl ester (87.4 mg, 0.22 mmol) and 2,6-dichlorobenzoyl chloride using the procedures described in examples 1 and 120 to give 56 mg of a white powder.
