The reaction was conducted in the same manner as said (2) except that 1-carboxy-3,5,7-trihydroxyadamantane was used instead of the 1-carboxy-3,5-dihydroxyadamantane, and, as a result, a 1-carboxy-3,5-dihydroxy-7-acryloyloxyadamantane (yield: 81%, white solid) was produced.
