The reaction was conducted in the same manner as said (2) except that 1,3-dihydroxyadamantane-4-one was used instead of the 1-hydroxyadamantane-2-one, and, as a result, a 1-acryloyloxy-3-hydroxyadamantane-4-one (yield: 87%, white solid) was produced.
